With All Due Respect
June 4th, 2012
The other day I posted "Sounds of Silence" as a blog in
respect to the three young girls that have either lost their lives or
have been seriously injured. One of them being the 11 year old Karla
Ortiz who lost her life riding an ATV a very short time ago.
Since my article appeared in the newspaper the following day, it was a relief to see yet another article prompted on the safety of ATV's in this weekend's paper. In reading it, our Commissioner Jim Coletta met with Sheriff Kevin Rambosk with hopes to plan ATV safety courses in the future. Then NBC news gave an on-air clip of this wonderful idea as well. Good for them.
Then you go online to read this article, "Death of 11-year-old ATV rider in Collier prompts call for safety training" and you get the blogger (Porkchopper) who comments, "Coletta is politicizing the death of an 11 year old girl. Only a really awful person, like Coletta, would do this. How can Commissioner Coletta use such a tragedy to help his campaigning along?"
Then we move onto my not so favorite blogger (Napleschick) comments;
"Even one child saved through safety training makes it worth while. Safety training is always available and recommended by the dealers. Parents should be doing it anyway. That makes this article a publicity stunt for election politics. Jim Coletta you should be ashamed of yourself. Why aren't you down there with a sign offering training? Make a call, send an e-mail, have a meeting. That isn't what your job is."
You know what I have to say to the two of you and others who can't find the good in anyone?
"Kiss my rubber duck!"
People like you make me sick. The bottom of society who thrives on others mistakes and then uses every bit of good against them. And the saddest part is no matter who wins any of the up and coming elections, it's just going to continue. It unfortunately will never end. Nothing can make people like you happy. Misery is what makes you happy.
Commissioner Coletta and Sheriff Rambosk are doing a wonderful thing here. Please, don't bring any more political measures into the issue. All that will do is make things worse. And it is their jobs to be involved, it is their job to look into such important issues, and it is their job to keep us all safe. So please, have some respect!
But unfortunately, some of you who read this will slam me in the comments below I am sure, just adding yourselves to the bottom of the cesspool we so very much cannot stand.
In the mean time, for those who enjoy life like me and don't waste time on such misery, here is my latest
You-Tube video of my Memorial Day weekend. I called it, "Redneckin' It" Though us must remind you, I am not a redneck. :)
I think you may need to copy and paste this link from this blog.
