Pray for Estates Firefighters

Just this morning I received a letter from a friend Rita Lynch on behalf of an accident that occurred out here in The Estates Friday night. I was out of town camping and had no idea. I just found an article here on NDN website from Friday, yet no other updates since. I also looked for it in the paper today, and still nothing or I may have missed it.

I want to extend my prayers out to the families of these two men and hope to hear that they are both doing well. I do not know any more information than what I read, so if anyone else can give a better update I would appreciate it.

I also want to say Rita has sent out a letter to friends in The Estates to help out the firefighters at Big Corkscrew Island Station 10.

Motorcycle Accident
Friday night 2 of the firefighters that my husband works with were involved in a very serious motorcycle accident & they are in ICU at Lee Memorial. The accident happened in district so their fellow firefighters had to respond to the scene. Everyone from the station is like family and this is extremely difficult especially when the guys still have to go in & work their shifts like any other day. One of the guys is our daughter's boyfriend of 5 years. If you would be able to make a meal or drop off a dish to the guys at station 10 I know they would really appreciate it. It would need to be enough to feed 6 - 8 men. I am sending this to several of my friends but If there is anyone else you know that might be willing to help please forward this to them also. Please pray for Justin & Joe & everyone else that is affected by this.

November 16th, 2011 Looks as though the Kniolas are preparing for a holiday Thanksgiving, filled with plenty of turkey turds and rainwater! Yes, it's true, we now own two adorable, yet really ugly turkeys. I specifically rounded them up for my husbands birthday since it was coming up soon. I figured since they were only three months old, they would be small enough to hide until his actually birthday. Well, I was wrong! Beary Beary Sad

Over the last few weeks and knowing this bear hunt vote was looming over our heads, it put me in a different place.  A place where I don’t care to be. You all know I’m a big lover on animals as most are, but to have that Florida bear hunt vote pass yesterday just sickens me. And I will be posting some graphic pictures throughout my blog just to show you how sickening it really is.  We’ll start off with this one. How does this make you feel right now? I am a realistic person and I clearly understand bears have grown in numbers over the years, but if we could have been a bit more pro-active in a stronger sense, this forthcoming bear hunt would not be happening.  Should not be happening.  I am so saddened by it. Happy New Year 2016!  (Yeah, I know it’s 2017) This is my yearly recap of my past year and blogs throughout 2016.  I am seriously lagging here. It's already the 30th of January.  So today, I write!
